The men were sent to one of the pre-trial detention centers in the Russian capital, Lefortovo, to be accused of “sabotage”.
On the night of August 23, the occupiers brought to Moscow four residents of the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region. The kidnapped Ukrainians were slated to be sentenced to life in prison for alleged acts of sabotage. This was announced by the mayor Ivan Fedorov on the air of the unified telethon of Unified News.
It is known that residents of Melitopol were sent to one of the pre-trial detention centers of the Russian capital – Lefortovo.
According to the mayor, the Ukrainians were accused of pre-sabotage activities “on the territory of Russia.”
“But we clearly understand that they acted on the territory of our Ukrainian Melitopol and certainly did not commit sabotage. They discredit themselves under pressure and threats – these are traditional measures that the enemy resorts to occupied territory,” said Fedorov.
In addition, the Gauleiters of Melitopol began to talk about the fact that “trials” of Ukrainian defenders would be held in the city.
It was previously reported that the invaders, accompanied by “policemen”, attacked Melitopol – entering houses and looking for partisans. According to preliminary data, four people have been taken.
