The Netherlands holds 20 yachts owned by Russian citizens. Vessels are blocked as part of sanctions imposed by Amsterdam against Moscow. This was reported on April 12 by CNN.
According to media reports, the number of Russian yachts detained in the Netherlands has reached 20 after customs officials placed six more ships under “enhanced surveillance”.
Dutch authorities are now investigating the ownership of the yachts and until the procedures are completed they will not be allowed to be delivered, transferred or exported. At the same time, it became clear that the two yachts were associated with a person included in the list of European Union sanctions for the Russian Federation.
As indicated, of the two dozen yachts, its length varies from 8.5 to 120 meters, 14 are under construction, two are in the parking lot, and four are under repair.
