On Tuesday night, April 12, more than 720 bodies of slain civilians were found in the territory of the Kiev region liberated from Russian occupiers. Such data is provided by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with reference to the head of the regional police Andrei Nebitov.
“The number of discovered and examined bodies of dead civilians in the Kiev region as a result of the Russian aggression is more than 720 people, more than 200 people are considered missing,” he said.
According to Nebitov, during the martial law period, the police registered 233 criminal proceedings for violation of the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, and 1,463 facts were investigated for violation of the laws and customs of war.
In addition, law enforcement officers registered more than 150 facts of theft and reported suspicions to 35 people, opened more than 30 criminal proceedings in cooperation activities, collected materials to assist the aggressor and have reported the suspicions to five people.
“The police continue to clean up the territories occupied by Russian troops, identify those who collaborated with the enemy, identify the victims of the Russian aggression, record the destruction and inspect the bodies of the dead,” the police chief of the Kiev region has graduated.
