Citizens of the Czech Republic are sending 1,968 crowns to help Ukraine, thus remembering the invasion of Czechoslovakia by Soviet troops in 1968, the Ukrainian embassy in the Czech Republic reported.
“These days, the embassy’s charitable account in support of the Ukrainian army receives dozens of payments from Czech friends in the amount of 1968. Thank you very much!” said the message.
