Britain believes that Russia has no place in the G20

According to Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will attend the G20 summit in Bali in November.

Russia has no moral right to sit in the G20 as long as it continues to attack Ukraine. On Friday, August 19, Reuters wrote referring to the head of the British Foreign Office, Liz Truss.

“Russia has no moral right to sit in the G20 as long as its aggression in Ukraine continues,” Truss said.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Indonesia’s desire to discuss developments in Ukraine and the fact that it could be represented at the G20 summit by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, the White House said Zelensky should participate in the G20 summit in Bali if Russian President Vladimir Putin comes there.

This year’s G20 summit is scheduled for November 15-16 in Bali.

It can be recalled that the leaders of Russia and China, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, intend to personally attend the G20 summit in Indonesia.
