The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke to the residents of the cities most intensively shelled by the Russian invaders and assured that Ukraine will not leave any of these strikes unanswered. On Friday, August 19, he said in his video message.
“Today I would like to separately address the residents of all our cities that are experiencing continuous brutal shelling from the Russian army. Kharkov and Nikolaev, all cities of Donbass, Dnepropetrovsk region, Zaporizhia region. .. Everyone who experiences constant fear of the destruction of life and the destruction of everything that gives normality to life.
We will not leave any of these blows unanswered. We will identify each invader who gives orders and carries out these attacks on cities. And we will hold them all accountable, one way or another. No murderer can escape,” he said.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine will definitely return everything that the terrorists tried to leave behind that was destroyed.
“The word ‘ruins’ will never be a word about Ukraine, it will never be a word about our cities. Russia will definitely not succeed here,” he summed up.
Remember that Russia lost almost 45 thousand soldiers after the attack on Ukraine. In the last 24 hours alone, around 400 invaders have been killed, mostly in the direction of Donetsk. About 120 units of various military equipment were also destroyed.
