People were evacuated from Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Almost one in three is a child.

In 10 days, more than 21,000 Ukrainians were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

“More than 21,000 people were evacuated from the temporarily uncontrolled territories of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the report said.

As mentioned, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, Irina Vereshchuk, pointed out that almost every third of them is a child.

“In particular, more than eight thousand citizens were evacuated from Kherson, more than nine thousand from the Zaporozhye region,” the minister specified.

According to him, evacuating now from front-line regions and from TOT is the most reliable way to protect yourself and your family.

Recall that on August 2, the Cabinet of Ministers decided on the mandatory evacuation of the population of the Donetsk region. Residents of Donbass are transported to 13 regions.

Later it became known that the mandatory evacuation could be extended to other regions of Ukraine. This is due to the fact that heat and power facilities can become targets of attacks by Russian aggressors.
