The Russian Foreign Ministry considers a “very real” conflict with Western countries due to the situation in Ukraine. This opportunity was authorized by the deputy director of the information department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Ivan Nechaev, Interfax wrote on Thursday, August 18.
“Russia has never rattled off weapons, especially nuclear. But the events in Ukraine clearly show that the collision with the collective West is quite real,” he said.
At the same time, the diplomat assured that the Russian Federation is committed to the principle that there are no winners in a nuclear war, so it should not start.
Nechaev also assured that Russia is not interested in conflict with the United States or NATO.
The representative of the Russian Federation reiterated that the occupation forces are equipped with modern and high-precision weapons, which are sufficient to realize the goals of the war against Ukraine.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation assured that they do not intend to use nuclear or chemical weapons in the war in Ukraine.
At the same time, Russia decided to suspend the inspection of the nuclear facilities of the United States.
