The man offered clients to arrange unimpeded border crossing based on documents about alleged ineligibility for military service for health reasons.
In Kyiv, an attacker was jailed for being involved in the illegal transfer of military-age men abroad. This was reported to the Kyiv city prosecutor’s office.
The man offered clients to arrange unimpeded border crossing on the basis of documents about the alleged ineligibility for military service for health reasons (the so-called “white ticket”).
The attacker estimated his services at $3,000 per person. In particular, according to this procedure, the man must smuggle a citizen of military age across the state border of Ukraine. In the course of monitoring the commission of the crime, the organizer of the scheme was detained while meeting with the “client” and receiving 3,000 US dollars from him.
During the investigation, it was also established that the organizer of the scheme was wanted for committing fraud in the territory of Transcarpathia.
The detainee is informed of the suspicion and the issue of choosing the measure of detention is decided. The investigation is ongoing.
Earlier, in the Odessa region, a group of people who helped men of mobilization age to go abroad were exposed.
