Those who think so have not learned the lessons of history, the President of the Russian Federation noted and emphasized that now is “the time of new opportunities.”
All attempts to “cancel” Russia are futile and stupid. This opinion was expressed by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in a speech to the participants of the Tavrida.Art forum, the Kremlin press service reported on Monday, August 15.

“All attempts to cancel our culture, to cancel Russia are futile. It’s just stupid. And those who think otherwise, unfortunately for them, have not learned the lessons of history,” Putin said, noting that “history is made by people.”
The Russian leader emphasized that now is “a time of new opportunities.”
“We know that any difficulties and trials are a time of new opportunities, and we often talk about it. This is a time of brave people, it’s like this, and you are like that,” Putin said in an address to the forum participants.
Earlier on Monday, Putin said many Russian weapons are decades ahead of their foreign counterparts.
At the same time, it was reported that Russia was forced to buy drones from Iran.
