Thanks to the successful work of the Ukrainian partisans, railway communication with the occupied Crimea was stopped.
After partisans destroyed the railway bridge near Melitopol, Russian trains from occupied Crimea stopped going to the south of Ukraine. This was announced by the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, the conquerors could not restore the crossing on the second day.
“Minus one railway bridge in the southwest direction from Melitopol is equivalent to the complete absence of Russian trains from the Crimea,” wrote Fedorov.
He added that in connection with the attack, the invaders intensified the hunt for Ukrainian partisans in the city, but they did not catch anyone.
“Glory to the Melitopol partisans for their daily heroic successes behind enemy lines,” said the mayor.
It will be remembered that last night the Armed Forces of Ukraine made another blow on the Antonovsky bridge in Kherson. As a result of the attack, the crossing became impassable.
