The Russian military attacked Energodar in the Zaporozhye region. A civilian was killed in the shooting. This was announced by the mayor Dmitry Orlov.
“August 14, the provocation murders deliberately committed by the occupiers cost another human life in Energodar,” Orlov wrote.
During the shooting, a civilian walking his dog was killed. The pet also did not survive.
Two other residents of Energodar were injured and taken to the hospital. It is known that at least six shots were fired in the city.
The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant has been shelled since last week. The International Atomic Energy Organization requests that its experts be allowed into the ZNPP. The US has been calling for the demilitarization of the zone around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, but Russia has refused.
