Mandatory evacuation, in addition to the Donetsk region, may be announced in four other regions of Ukraine. We are talking about those regions closer to the front line.
Mandatory evacuation may be announced in Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Mykolaiv and Zaporozhye regions. Evacuation of citizens from the temporarily occupied regions may be necessary due to the unpreparedness of the front-line regions for the warming period and for the safety of the civilians themselves. This was said in an interview with Obozrevatel by former Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons Georgiy Tuka.
“If you remember the long-forgotten Soviet era, there was a sector called civil defense. And it provided for the mandatory evacuation of the civilian population not on the principle of” I want – I don’t want, I will – I won ‘t, “but without failure,” he said. He added that currently such actions are not provided by law in Ukraine.
When asked what areas could be involved in the evacuation process, he replied:
“Perhaps, first of all, the regions closer to the front line. These are partly Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev and Zaporozhye regions.”
Tuka expressed the opinion that in the current conditions there is no point in talking about peace negotiations with Russia. According to him, the only subject for negotiation is the liberation of the occupied territories and the payment of reparations.
Recall that the previous Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk also said that the Ukrainian authorities may extend the mandatory evacuation of a number of conflict-affected areas .
