How Ukraine will pass the heating season, Minister of Energy Herman Galushchenko said on the air of the telethon. The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing the main and backup plans in case of various situations during the heating season against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine.
We are developing many scenarios. The so-called plan “A”, plan “B”. All the dangers of the passage of the heating season are connected precisely with the war. These plans provide for either compensation for a certain resource, or a certain generation, if necessary … Of course, there are already purchased and supplied mobile things (we are talking about boilers – ed.), – said the Minister of Energy.
According to him, one of Kyiv’s main plans for the winter is to replace certain resources with others if it is not possible to supply them.
For example, when we were unable to supply coal for generations, we replaced it with gas supplies. There are appropriate compensatory mechanisms,” Galushchenko pointed out.
Recall that earlier Prime Minister Denys Shmihal said that the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine should work out a mechanism for the purchase of Ukrainian gas at the expense of rent to the heating season.
