The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, called on EU countries to immediately provide Ukraine with all the weapons it demands. On Monday, April 11, according to Bloomberg, sources were cited.
It was noted that after a trip to Kyiv, the head of European diplomacy appealed to EU countries to provide weapons to Ukraine, as it prepares to intensify Russia’s military campaign.
At the same time, Borrell stressed to European diplomats that a decision must be made in the coming days, not weeks.
It is assumed that the military campaign in eastern Ukraine will be decisive for the consequences of the war. Therefore, Kyiv has only a small window to prepare and obtain the necessary weapons.
According to Bloomberg, most EU countries are focused on analyzing requests for the supply of tanks and mass launch rocket systems. This topic will be discussed at a meeting of foreign ministers in Luxembourg on Monday.
Recall, on Saturday Borrell said the war with Russia would be won on the battlefield.
And now, German Foreign Minister Annalena Burbock has said that Ukraine needs more military equipment, especially heavy weapons, and now there is no time for reasons.
