The T-72 tank and the ammunition load – about 10 shells, as well as the Russian 92N6E illumination and guidance radar were destroyed.
As a result of the explosions at the Zyabrovka military airport in Belarus, a Russian radar for illumination and guidance for air defense systems was damaged. This was reported by the monitoring group Belaruska Gayun.
It is noted that as a result of the events of the night, a T-72 tank and ammunition load – about 10 shells – was destroyed. This is confirmed by the fact that today, near the Zyabrovka airport, they noticed a MAZ of the Belarusian military with the inscription demining.
According to the monitoring group, the Russian 92N6E illumination and guidance radar, which helps anti-aircraft missile systems detect targets and destroy them, was also likely destroyed at the airfield at night.
“If the information is reliable, then at least one part of the S-400 Triumf anti-aircraft missile system, located at the airport, is now incapacitated,” the statement said.
According to unconfirmed reports, there are victims.
Recall that in the Gomel region of Belarus at the military airport Zyabrovka this evening there was an equipment fire.
As reported, in early July, Belarus transferred the Zyabrovka airport under full Russian control. There is a Russian military base there.
