The Osipovichsky training ground is involved in training strikes from the Soviet MLRS, the local Telegram channel notes.
Firing training from the MLRS Hurricane was held in Belarus at the Osipovichsky training ground. Telegram-channel Belaruska Gayun reported this on Wednesday, August 10.
“At the Osipovichsky training ground 51 abr. (Osipovichsky district), control exercises are held to control missile strikes with batteries of 220 mm multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) Hurricane of the 231st artillery brigade (point of permanent deployment – the village of Borovka, Lepelsky district of the Vitebsk region)”, the message said.
The servicemen performed the tasks of reaching the designated area, preparing and taking starting positions. They also practiced striking indicated targets with combat launches, the media note.
“After the strikes, the tasks of changing positions, loading and striking newly identified targets were carried out. Most likely, the exercises were of a planned nature,” the Telegram channel summed up.
We remind you that the air force and air defense forces of Belarus will conduct military exercises in August, including on Russian training grounds.
Earlier it was reported that in Russian practice Vostok-2022 more than 250 Belarusian military will participate.
