Such a proposal by Vladimir Zelensky “can only be treated negatively,” said Dmitry Peskov.
The Kremlin does not believe in the prospects of isolating Russia or Russians. This was announced on Tuesday, August 9, by the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, who commented on the words of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, in which he said that Western countries should ban all Russians entering their territory, TASS reports.

“The statement is enough, let’s say, it speaks for itself. Probably, the irrational thinking in this case goes out of proportion,” said Peskov.
He added that such a proposal “can only be treated negatively.”
“Any attempts to isolate the Russians or isolate Russia is a process without prospects, the smell of such initiatives is also not very good, to say the least,” Peskov said.
Recall that from July 1, a visa regime for Russians began to operate in Ukraine. From now on, Russians cannot go to Ukraine without an invitation; a foreign passport and host country passport details are required for entry. At the same time, not all Russians will be given a visa.
