The head of state announced new support packages from partners that will be available in Ukraine next week. On Sunday, August 7, he said in a video message.
“And we expect news from partners about support packages this week,” the president said.
The head of state emphasized that the key now is to get new weapons from the allies so that powerful and long-range systems can be provided to the front line.
At the same time, the Ukrainian leader noted that the situation in Donbas remains very difficult.
“Avdiivka, Peski, Marinka, Bakhmutske and other hot spots in the Donetsk region are taking major efforts and, unfortunately, many lives. It is also difficult in the Kharkov region, in the south of our country, where the invaders are trying to concentrate their forces,” the president said.
The army is doing everything it can to stop the Russian advance, he said, but it needs more weapons.
It was previously reported that the situation in Bakhmut is deteriorating due to the continued shelling of the Russian army, but so far remains under control.
Remember that the enemy is trying to establish complete control over two Ukrainian regions.
