The Russian invaders launched a missile attack on military facilities in the Vinnitsa region, there were victims. This was announced on Sunday, August 7, in a message on the Facebook page of the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“On the night of August 7, the occupiers ‘congratulated’ the air force on their professional holiday. Unfortunately, we had several missiles landing on military facilities in the Vinnytsia region. There were victims. The kind of missiles were set by the relevant services,” the report said.
Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the alarm in the area before the “arrival” did not sound.
In turn, the mayor of Vinnitsa, Sergei Morgunov, said that “sounds similar to explosions were heard in the region.” He added that no emergency was recorded in the territory of Vinnytsia city territorial community.
Authorities are also investigating the reasons for the failure of the missile warning system.
The air raid in the Vinnitsa region lasted three hours: from 19.45 to 22.44.
