Ukraine is 60% ready for the heating season, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said.
“Currently, all regions are prepared by an average of 60%. This is consistent with the preparation plan developed by the government. We will accelerate in this direction to get through the heating season stably,” Shmyhal said.
So, on October 15, coal reserves should reach 2.5 million tons of coal.
“According to the Minister of Energy German Galushchenko, currently, 1.8 million tons of coal are stored in warehouses of thermal power plants and thermal power plants, and the process is moving according to schedule,” said the prime minister.
Gas reserves exceeded 11.8 billion cubic meters against the plan of 19 billion cubic meters.
Earlier, the Cabinet announced the most difficult heating season. The government has been preparing for several months for various scenarios.
