Buckingham Palace Announces Queen Elizabeth Will Not Attend Easter Week Service –

Buckingham Palace announced on Friday that Queen Elizabeth will bow at the Easter week event and will be attended by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla.

The palace said the 95-year-old monarch will not attend a royal service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Thursday, Easter Sunday.

The palace did not specify the reason for the queen’s abolition. Reporter Success Murphy Town & Country said it understands the queen “could not have run the event earlier and wanted to avoid overshadowing the event.”

The queen’s health has been in question in recent months. He was hospitalized in October and tested positive for COVID-19 in February.

Although she continued to hold a virtual audience, the queen stopped and sometimes, due to her health, she cut off personal hearings and events while delegating more responsibilities to Charles.

Despite her health problems, Sovereign was able to attend a Thanksgiving service last month, dedicated to her late husband of more than 70 years, Prince Philip, which marked the queen’s first public appearance in five months.

The Duke of Edinburgh died in April 2021 and was buried due to a corovirus pandemic. It was not known until the day of the Thanksgiving service whether the queen would attend.

Although he eventually appeared, the case was dissolved in the company of his son, Prince Andrew, just weeks after they settled a sexual assault case in New York caused by a relationship with the late pedophile who Jeffrey Epstein.
