Moldova election: turnout exceeds 40%

The diaspora continues to show high activity – more than 161 thousand people voted abroad.

The turnout at Moldova’s Parliament on Sunday, September 28, exceeded 40.44%, allowing them to express their held. This has been proven by data of Moldova’s Central Election Commission

Up to 16:20, more than 1.1 million voters gave their parliamentary election vote in Moldova, or 40.44% – more than the minimum required 33.33%.

High activity continues to show the diaspora – more than 161 thousand people voted abroad. At polling stations for transnistria residents, nearly 9,000 citizens filed their vote.

Remember, on September 28, the parliamentary election was held in Moldova. President Maya Sandu voted in the election and turned to the people. Sandu said Moldova was “in danger” and emphasized that the country’s fate should decide the people, and not the purchased voices.
