Two more patriot systems to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense will be given before the current fall.
The Ukrainian army has already received a Patriot Anti -Aircraft missile system from Israel. President Vladimir Zelensky said in a briefing on Saturday, September 27th.
“The Israeli Complex (Patriot – Ed.) Works in Ukraine. One month works. Two patriotic systems we get in the fall,” said the head of the state.
At the same time, Zelensky refused additional comments on Patriot’s subject.
Remember, a year ago, the media reported that Israel could move eight Patriot batteries to Ukraine. It is noted that Israeli wind defense systems are older than the patriotic systems that are now in Ukraine. At the same time, they are perfectly compatible with the new anti -Aircraft complex.
Israel also plans to leave the use of Patriot and replace them with more modern air defense systems.
In June this year, Zelensky said Ukraine could rely on the old Patriot’s air defense systems. One such system was transferred by Israel for the United States to restore, but Ukraine did not receive it at that time.
