In the new law, in particular, a number of medical benefits for Ukrainians who are not working in Poland have been canceled.
The President of Poland Karol Navrotsky has signed the law for assistance to Ukrainian refugees. On Friday, September 26, the presidential office leader of Zbignnev Bogutsky said, Polish Radio reported.
The previous assistance ended on September 30. To get new, conditions have changed.
“The President of the Republic of Poland forced the previous Veto, the government, prime minister Donald Tuska, to work and represent decisions that are not perfect, but certainly best. In the case of Ukrainian law, he forced him to limit the benefits for the people of Ukrain, especially those who did not work in the Republic of Poland,” Bogutsky said.
The head of the office also noted that the decisions contained in this law “really mean end of tourism from Ukraine at the expense of Poland taxpayers.”
“The bill contains information about specific benefits that are not available to Ukrainian citizens who are not working in Poland, for example, when it comes to rehabilitation, drug addiction programs, health care programs, layers of prescription drugs, and many other benefits, including cataract treatment and dental services,” Bogutsky said.
According to him, there is no reason to continue such actions, and Poland should treat Ukrainians like all other foreigners.
Note that in Poland the Senate on September 17 adopted a new law to foreigners and assistance to the people of Ukraine – the document was prepared after Veto President Karol Navrotsky for another legislative initiative on the status of Ukrainians in Poland.
It has also been reported that the Poland Minister Council has approved a new bill, which should resolve issues of supporting foreigners, in particular, citizens of Ukraine. We talk about payments to foreigners as part of such social programs as 800+, good start and active parents.
