Ukraine will receive new military assistance from Denmark.
The Danish Ministry of Defense announced the distribution of 1.6 billion crows in Ukraine with a package of military assistance, which is almost 400 million euros. This is already 27 – a packet of help that Copenhagen transfers to Ukraine. On September 27, the Denmark Ministry of Defense reported on the official website.
It is noted that funds are allocated for the purchase of weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers for further transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some money will be allocated for “other forms of assistance”.
Defense Minister Denmark Troiels Lund Polesen emphasized that Ukraine has a huge need for military support. And the Danes believe that one of the best ways to help is to increase the contribution to the Ukrainian defense industry.
It is known that in 2024, Ukraine and Denmark presented a new model of assistance to Ukraine and the transfer of weapons, which was called “Danish”. The initiative provides that the allies finance the purchase of weapons for the armed forces from Ukrainian manufacturers.
We recall that on September 12, Denmark launched the program of the transition program of Ukraine, which will work for three years, and its budget will be 375 million euros. Money from this program should maintain sustainability and early restoration, energy security and switch to green energy, as well as the development of energy institutions.
