In one of the leading energy companies in Ukraine, the FSB was discovered in the region of Kyiv, the detained IT specialist at the enterprise, which referred to the attack of the Russian Federation to the critical infrastructure of the capital region.

According to the investigation:
- The agent was supposed to “exhaust” the invaders of the coordinates of the underground centers of the reserve information bases of his company. We are talking about technological storages of specialized data that ensure the smooth functioning of the energy system of Ukraine;
- The enemy also hoped to obtain the geolocation of gas turbines from the Mole, which was installed for alternative energy supply of Kievans in case of damage to racists of electrical substations of the capital;
- The agent received the task from the FSB through his relative, who previously sent to Ukraine one of the prohibited prohibits of Kremlin parties, and now cooperates with the Russian special service on the left bank of the Kherson region. In September 2022, this relative received a suspicion of correspondence in the treason.
SBU employees revealed a Russian agent in advance, documented his crimes and detained, ”said SBU. – During the search, the attacker captured a smartphone with evidence of the enemy’s work.
Based on the evidence collected by the official of the power company, they reported suspicion in the framework of the second part of art. 111 of the Criminal Code (state betrayal committed in martial law).
The attacker is in custody. He is threatened with life imprisonment with confiscation of property, ”said SBU.
