The construction of the plant in Bavaria should double the capacity of the world for making modernized PAC 2 missile designed to interfere with tactical ballistic targets. Working should begin by the end of 2026, and the first delivery is at the beginning of 2027.
GottShild said MBDA has a technical ability for producing a patriot launcher. Earlier, the company was engaged in their maintenance and arrangement.
The MBDA also considers participation in the Deep Precision Strike Missile developing project with over 2000 km. This initiative was declared that Great Britain and Germany in May, but the start of the project has not been determined.
