Russia is actively preparing for a possible armed conflict with NATO, which, according to experts, can start until 2030. It was said by the Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Ruben Bremelmans during the European Forum of Defense Innovation in Hague, report Ukrinform.
Brekmelmans noted that Moscow has moved to the “military railroad” – increases the manufacture of weapons and mobilizes more people than necessary for war against Ukraine. The minister emphasized that in the coming years the volume of Russian -Made weapons -made will be “just growing.”
The minister emphasized that by Russia’s 2030 plan to be prepared for a large -scale collision with NATO. This indicates the availability of Vladimir Putin of clear intentions, resources and incentives to continue its aggressive policy.
Brexomelmes also emphasized the importance of more specific support for Ukraine’s partners. According to him, the security of Ukraine and other European countries is closely interrelated. It is necessary to provide Kyiv a reliable guarantee against the attack on the future, so that any peace agreement is not just a temporary decision in the face of a new attack wave.
He added that the alliance should be clearly given by Russia to understand: any attack on the NATO country will receive a decisive answer. This, according to him, is “the only way to maintain freedom and security in Europe.”
