The law expands the legality of Ukraine’s refugees in Poland until March 4, 2026, and also enhances control over accepting foreign social assistance.
In Poland, the Senate on September 17 adopted a new law to foreigners and assistance to the citizens of Ukraine – the document was prepared after Veto President Karol Navrotsky for another legislative initiative on the status of Ukrainians in Poland. This was reported by Poland radio.
It was noted that the Poland Senate did not bring its right to the document adopted by the SEJM last week, so it was considered to be fully accepted by Parliament and expect President Karol Navrotsky’s signature.
In particular, the law expanded the legality of staying in Poland by the people of Ukrainians to flee from the war, until March 4, 2026.
It enhances control of accepting social assistance to foreigners, in particular 800+ programs. The right here is to be attributed to the professional activity and teaching of children at a Poland school. One exception, for example, is parents of children with disabilities.
A restriction was introduced about the possibility of Ukraine’s medical services of medical services. This is, in particular, about medical and medicinal programs, therapeutic rehabilitation and dental treatment.
Remember that the Poland diet approved a new law aimed at regulating the help of Ukrainian citizens to leave their country due to Russian invasion.
It has also been reported that the Poland Minister Council has approved a new bill, which should resolve issues of supporting foreigners, in particular, citizens of Ukraine. We talk about payments to foreigners within the framework of social programs such as 800+, good start -up and active parents.
