Russian president Vladimir Putin unexpectedly visited a military training area in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation on the last day of Belarus-Russian West 2025 military training, reports The Times.
According to the publication, during the visit, he said the exercises were aimed at “reflecting potential aggression against the state of the union,” as well as 100 thousand military personnel took part in the training. Earlier, Belarus said only seven thousand participated in the exercises.
