Poland Customs officials at Border Crossing in Medic have been detained by a 40 -year -old Ukraine citizen, who had a baggage of unspecified cash for 1.3 million zlotys. On Monday, September 15, Plsat News reported.
It was noted that during an auditing a pedestrian transfer to the doctor, Border Service employees and Poland’s Customs and Tax Service were found to be unspecified luggage from the Ukrainian. The 40-year-old woman tried to bring 280 thousand dollars and 80 thousand euros to cash throughout the border, or 1.3 million zlotys in terms of polish currency.
Since Ukrainians did not announce cash, 80 thousand zlotys were arrested on its account, which could be recovered as a fine. The final penalty must be determined by the Customs and Tax Service.
Poland’s border service recalled the obligation to declare funds of total value of equal or more than 10 thousand euros, when entering or leaving the European Union.
Earlier, Transcarpathian Customs officials got a large batch of smuggled Labubu. They were brought across the Ukrainian-Slovak border into a truck.
