In the mass protests in Nepal, 72 people were killed. This was announced by the head of the Secretary of the Nepal Ecnarayan Ar’yal, reported by Nepal News on Sunday, September 14th.
“In total, 72 people were killed. Another victim of 191 is currently receiving medical care at various hospitals and medical institutions nationwide,” he said.
According to the official, deadly incidents were recorded at major protests on September 8, as well as after sharp radicalization of performances on September 9, when protesters rode in Arson and other violent actions.
Note that protests in Nepal exploded after the government banned the work of 26 social networks, including Facebook and X, which protesters considered the offensive as freedom of speech. The Prime Minister of Nepal Sharma resigned against the backyard of the large protests.
