State secretary Marco Rubio said that at the moment there was no clear evidence that Russian drones were deliberately aimed at Poland, that the airspace they violated on September 10. Rubio told reporters before flying to Israel and the UK, quoted by Reuters on Saturday, September 13th.
“Without a doubt, the drones were deliberately launched. The question was whether the drones were aimed at Poland accurately,” the State Secretary said.
At the same time, Rubio emphasized that the incident with the penetration of Russian drones in Poland’s airspace was unacceptable.
“This is not acceptable and a serious risk,” he said.
The State Secretary also noted that if the purpose of attacking Poland was proven, it could significantly worsen the international situation.
“To draw the final conclusion, we need to review all the facts in detail and have consultants with our allies,” Rubio added.
Note that on the night of September 10, Russia’s next attack in Ukraine, its drones were 19 times crossed Poland’s airspace.
