The UN General Assembly approved New York’s declaration of peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and the implementation of the decision to create two state-Israel and Palestine. This was announced the day before the UN website.
It was noted that the General Assembly was made up of all 193 UN Member States, and 142 countries voted for a resolution in support of the document.
Israel, along with nine other countries-Argentine, Hungary, Micronzia, Nauru, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay, ton and deer voted. Another 12 states avoid.
Prior to the vote, French ambassador Jerome Bonnapon recalled that the New York declaration “sets a single road map for implementing the decision to create two states.”
