Japan has decided to reduce the maximum price for Russian raw oil to $ 47.6 per barrel from the past 60 dollars.
Japan announced a new package of sanctions against the Russian Federation and its partners. Businesses from China, Turkey, the UAE, Seychelles and Marshall Islands also fell under restrictions. This was reported by the view of trading and devdiscourse.
It was noted that Japan decided to reduce the maximum price for Russian raw oil to $ 47.6 per barrel from the past $ 60. This decision was made to increase the pressure in Moscow for the continuation of the Ukraine invasion.
According to the Japanese Foreign Ministry, the new threshold for raw Russian oil will be applied to contracts completed after September 12, and removal contracts after October 17.
This step followed after the EU in July reduced the maximum price for Russian raw oil to $ 47.6 as part of its 18th package of sanctions against Moscow.
Japan will also impose additional penalties for freezing property and export control. In particular, it is known that Tokyo imposed sanctions against 14 individuals, 48 companies and organizations from the Russian Federation, three companies from Seychelles and Marshalls.
In addition, it has been reported about exporting restrictions related to two companies from the Russian Federation and nine companies from the UAE, Turkey and China.
Earlier it was reported that the European Union, along with the United States, was preparing a 19 pack of sanctions against Russia.
Keep in mind that Ukraine has been dating penalties in Great Britain and has introduced restrictions against people who help the military -industrial complex, the Shadow Fleet and the Russian energy sector.
