Warsaw plans to develop new ways of protection against drones and strengthening air defense in close cooperation with Ukraine.
Polish prime minister Donald Tusk on Thursday, September 11, announced his desire to establish a cooperation in Ukraine in the development of systems for the fall of enemy drones. He emphasized that Ukrainian systems are the best for this, TVP.info reports.
The head of the Poland government has already mentioned in the talks of European partners in NATO, he heard words of complete support and understanding the need to adjust support for the entire eastern flank, especially for Poland.
Tusk noted that “thanks to such unity, not only the words of support have emerged, but also an expression of practical help in Poland from the President of France and the UK leaders, the Netherlands, and Sweden.”
The Prime Minister also announced the close partnership of Ukraine on the issue of opposition systems.
He called the Ukrainian systems that were best to create the most effective opposition shield, as they were reviewed on the battlefield.
“We have already agreed in the coming hours of specific negotiations and exchanging experiences on the Ukrainian side,” Tusk said.
The prime minister said that on Thursday, Poland’s foreign minister of Poland Radoslav Sikorsky had gone to Kyiv, and in the coming days the deputy prime minister and defense minister Vladislav Kosineak-Kamysh would go there.
Earlier, the media reported that Russia, on the night of September 10, seemed to be trying to attack NATO’s base in Poland. Some of the drones of the Russian Federation fly in its direction.
