Alexander Klimenko has established a financial and industrial group, which earns from the mining industry in the occupied part of the Luhansk region.
The security service has gathered a base of evidence to the former Minister of Income and Payment in Ukraine Alexander Klimnko, which helps Russia’s funding in the war against our state. This was reported by the SBU press service on Thursday, September 11.
The defendant conquered the “chair” to the government of Yanukovych times and part of the near-circle of the president-priest’s family. In February 2014, the ex-minister left for Russia, where he cooperated with the invaders and hid from justice.
Based on the case materials, in Moscow, Klimenko established a financial and industrial group, which earns from the mining industry in the temporary occupied part of the Luhansk regional territory.
In 2024, the ex-minister and general director of the controlled holder included the local Belorechenskaya mine obtained by the rashists. This business is one of the largest in Ukraine for getting highly essential anthracite.
To control this, Klimenko’s accomplice entered into a job agreement “Fuel Minister, LPR’s Coal Energy and Coal Industry” to rent a mine along with subsequent redemption. Also, the “Conditions of Agreement” include the company’s ex-minister transfer of two auxiliary verbs.
Thereafter, the defendants received a license for the development of coal layers of mine at the federal agency for Russia’s subsoil use. To obtain the appropriate “permission”, Klimenko involved personal relationships with the country’s government’s government and the Russian Federation work management in the Luhansk region.
