The Ombudsman noted that Russia, as of August 1, has not yet granted access to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross to the site of the execution of Ukrainian prisoners, despite the Russian side’s statements about the alleged’ y providing access to representatives of the ICRC and the UN monitoring mission.
The Ombudsman also stated that the UN is not responding to requests from the Ukrainian side regarding the explosion in the Yelenovskaya colony.
“We have communication with the ICRC, the situation is worse with the UN. I send letters, requests. I did it on the first day immediately after the tragedy. I myself did not receive any signal, even unofficially. I could confirm it publicly,” he said.
Remember, on Friday, July 29, “DNR” said that 47 people died, 75 were injured, including eight guards, during the shelling of the colony in Yelenovka.
