The Prime Minister of Slovak said that in their meeting with the Kremlin leader, he said he had shown interest in negotiations with the President of Ukraine “anywhere.”
Slovakia Robert Fitzo’s prime minister said Russia’s dictator Vladimir Putin expressed his readiness to meet the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky not only in Moscow, but also “in any other place.” The fit was told about this on the Slovak radio program, Teraz.Sk reports.
Fitz noted that at a meeting with him on Friday, Zelensky also made it clear that he was ready for the meeting.
Speaking of the unlikely Putin for the meeting, Fitzu at the same time admitted that he would not bring “many political benefits” -they said, Russians did not appreciate Putin.
“But both (Zelensky and Putin, – Ed.) To understand, despite the fact that it may cause political damage to them, they need to meet and they need to discuss things, because if they don’t discuss, the war will continue” – The politician said.
Fitz also reiterated Russia’s accounts that security guarantees should be obtained not only by Ukraine, but also Russia, and not the Ukraine’s possibility of joining NATO. In addition, he confirmed that the Slovak military was not involved in Ukrainian territory. At the same time, according to him, Slovakia’s support on the issue of security guarantees could mean, for example, permission to move the military from other countries through the Slovak territory.
Remember that Putin himself said he was ready to meet Zelensky exclusively in Moscow.
Zelensky invited the Russian dictator to arrive at a meeting at Kyiv.
