The discipline of the army should not be based on the penalty, but in justice, the department is mentioned.
The Ministry of Defense has conducted consultations with the leaders of the Verkhovna Rada Committees on Law Enforcement and the National Security, Defense and Intelligence on public bills. This was reported by the department’s press service on Saturday, September 6.
It is indicated that the ministry and parliamentaries have reached an agreement with the full support of the President of the DRAFT Law at the Military Ombudsman submitted to Parliament.
At the same time, the Ministry of Defense has supported the position of parliamentary committees with the need to exclude provisions from Bill No. 13452 to strengthen the responsibility of military personnel for disobedience.
“The Ministry of Defense believes that Bill No. 13452 requires a conclusion with the relevant Verkhovna Republic committees. The discipline in the army should not be based on the penalty, but justice,” the report said.
According to the department, the changes proposed to the bill have removed the courts the opportunity to consider the cases of the case and impose a more subtle penalty. It will actually take the test in a formal procedure without considering the individual factors.
“The ministry continues to promote that the military defending our country today can protect their rights,” the Ministry of Defense has completed.
As you know, on September 4, Verkhovna Rada was adopted in the first reading of Bill No. 13260, which provides a more strict penalty for military personnel for unauthorized unit (OP) abandonment of martial law.
