Ukrainian -made ballistic missiles in the future may appear in the service with the armed forces.
Fire Point, which produces the Ukrainian Flamingo Flamingo missile, announced the development of ballistic missiles FP-7 and FP-9. The weapon also stated that they would develop internal air defense systems. This was reported during the press conference at the MSPO International Exhibition in Poland, reports Militar Portal.
It is noted that the FP-7 missile can affect the targets of up to 200 km. It develops a maximum speed of 1 thousand 500 m/s and has a circular deviation of 14 m. Its combat load is 150 kg, and the maximum flight duration is 250 seconds.
The fire point said that the FP-7 is designed to quickly damage targets at medium distances. Its start is made with a ground platform.
And the FP-9 has a range of up to 855 km and flies at a speed of 2 thousand 200 m/s. The combat load of this ballistics is 800 kg, and the flight height is up to 70 km. Engineers claim that this missile can affect the whole in the deep rear with an accuracy of 20 m.
Recall that Fire Point began to actively advertise its FP-1 drones at a distance and flamingos in the Western media in recent weeks. And President Volodymyr Zelensky recently called this missile “the most successful rocket that Ukraine has in its arsenal.”
