The defendant, who contributed to the transfer of funds from the owner of the Finance and Credit Group, will be charged with providing unlawful benefits to the official.
The businessman’s suspicion, which contributed to the transfer of funds from the owner of the Finance and Credit Group, was reported in the case of receiving the unlawful benefit of the exlaire of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Kyazev. It was reported on September 4 by the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
According to the investigation, the businessman (owned by the Finance and Credit Group) agreed to a lawyer who should adjust the transfer of funds to another person. He, in turn, had to move these funds to the Supreme Court’s leadership as an unlawful benefit for deciding the court of the businessman’s interest.
The defendant will be charged with providing unlawful benefits to an officer.
It was found that in 2002 the businessman obtained 40.19% of mining and processing plant sharing. After 18 years, former shareholders challenged the contract with the court, but the first time refused to claim. In 2022, the Court of Appeal canceled this decision and identified the contract.
To prevent the loss of shares, in March 2023, the businessman entered a conspiracy with a beck-office attorney in the Supreme Court. In March -April 2023, by mediators moved $ 2.7 million to the attorney (of which $ 1.8 million was intended for Supreme Court judges, the rest of the mediators). On April 19, 2023, the Supreme Court decided to favor the businessman.
Remember, on May 15, 2023, the head of the Supreme Court of Vsevolod Kyazev and the lawyer were confined when the second tranche received unlawful benefits – $ 450 thousand. On May 18, Kyazev was arrested. After that, he was expanded to the deadline for caution.
