The American president remains a dedicated desire for a peace agreement between the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “is not ready” for the summit. This is said by American leader Donald Trump in an interview with CBS News.
The US president said he still wanted to help Ukraine and Russia end a peace agreement, and again announced that “something would happen”, despite the uncertainty about the prospects of personal negotiations between Zelensky and Putin.
“I think we’re all going to fix it. Honestly, I thought the problem in Russia would be the easiest of those I solved, but it seemed to be more complicated than others,” Trump said.
The American leader added that he carefully monitors how Zelensky and Putin are currently acting.
“I watched it, I saw it and discussed it with President Putin and President Zelensky. Something’s going to happen, but they are not ready. But something will happen. We will do it,” Trump said.
The President of the United States noted that his approach to many diplomatic negotiations was to collect leaders in a room and force them to end an agreement in real time, often under his leadership, and would not deny any opportunity until this happened. Trump emphasized that such a procedure requires patience.
When asked if sometimes he had to “wait until the situation was resolved,” Trump replied: “Well, it should be done.”
“Fortunately, we have a very nice day, and once I collect them all in the same room or at least forcing them to talk to each other, they seem to be finding a solution. We have saved millions of lives,” said the US president.
Remember, someday, Trump said he was “overwhelmed” by Putin, who still did not agree at a meeting with Zelensky, but the attack on Ukraine only intensified. Putin said he was ready to meet Zelensky, but only in Moscow.
