The Ukrainian leader said the fate of Ukraine depends on how much war will affect Europe and where its eastern border will be passed.
If Ukraine goes to territorial concessions, it will only lead to the fact that Russia uses captured territories as a bridge to attack Europe. On Wednesday, September 3, President Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with Le Point.
“Some media states that if the Ukrainian soldiers leave the eastern regions of our country, the world will be restored there. But this is not true. Putin took Crimea to use it as a bridge for around as a bridge for complete occupation in these regions. The industrial center of Dnieper will also be available.
He added that Europeans should think of a different size and think about what would happen if Putin had a successful plan to get the whole Ukraine.
“If Putin managed to get our whole country, he would use it in the same way as Bridgehead. He would do it or not, it depends on how strong Europe is. If Europe is strong, he probably won’t do anything, but if it is weak, he will suffer from Russian actions,” he explained.
Zelensky also recalled that the distance between Moscow and Paris was less than 3,000 kilometers.
“But the missiles used by Russia now have a range of 2,500 kilometers. We also have missiles with a radius of 3,000 kilometers action. And the war stimulates technological development here in Europe, but also in Russia. In such technological development, it may not have any remote war. Believe me, for two years, Russia will also have many operations for 5,000 Kilometers.
He remembered that the fate of Ukraine was certain that the war would affect Europe and where its eastern border.
“If Ukraine does not stand up, this border will be Poland or even Germany. When Europe is divided this way. West Germany’s eastern border is the border of the western world,” he added.
Zelensky emphasized that it is now all depending on how far they will give free rein in Russia’s ambitions.
Remember that Zelensky on Wednesday arrived in Paris to participate in the Coalition Summit to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine.
