The Galician District Court Lviv elected a 52-year-old suspect in the case of the murder of the People’s Deputy Ukraine Andriy Parubiy Preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days without the right to free pledge.
This was announced today, August 2, said the press service of the Prosecutor General.
It was noted that the actions of the suspect are qualified in accordance with two articles of the Criminal Code – part 1 art. 115 (deliberate murder) and part 1 art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons).
On August 30, Andrei Parubi was killed on one of the streets of Lviv with eight shots. The next day, the suspect was detained in the Khmelnitsky region.
The preliminary investigation continues.
