Law enforcement officials announced the former head of apartment and maintenance departments and the contractor to assign 25 million to meet the needs of Ukraine’s armed forces units. This was reported by the National Police’s press service on Tuesday, September 2.
The head of apartment management and operation, which previously held these positions in two areas, was involved in its organization. The officer concluded a number of contracts with the company controlled by the electricity supply for the needs of military units.
Later, the terms of the contracts were changed without objective grounds – the resource price was artificially overstated under the pretext of the so -called “changing -change in the market”. Thus, the scheme organizes illegally appointed 25 million UAHs allocated to support the army.
Former head of apartment and operational departments and the head of the company suspected to designate the owner under part 5 of the art. 191 UKU and no careful attitude toward military service under part 4 of Art. 425 Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Currently, the issue of selecting avoidance steps is resolved.
The penalty of the articles provides 12 years of imprisonment with the right to seize certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to three years and confiscation of property.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense revealed a procedure with a losses of UAH 2 billion. The former acting director of the Department of Public Procurement of the department has reported suspicion.
