Jerusalem denied reports of the alleged ban on Ukraine on traveling to the Hasids in UMAN to celebrate Rosh Hahan.

Israel has denied information about the possible ban of Ukraine’s journey to the Hasids on the occasion of the Jewish New Year celebration, Rosh Ha-Shana. This was announced by AXIOS journalist Barak Ravid on Social Network X.

According to him, the spokesman of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oren Marmorstein said Ukraine had no change in its policy regarding the visit of believers to celebrate Rosh Hahan.

“So far, there have been no changes to Ukraine’s policy regarding the arrival of those who believe in Rosh Ha Shaan,” the Axios reporter mentioned the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This year, the Rosh Hahan Falls celebration on September 22.

It is worth remembering that in 2022, Ukraine urged Hasidov to refrain from traveling because of the danger caused by the war. However, many still visit the UMAN, which enters the Moldavian border.

Last year, thousands of pilgrims were in line with UMAN, provided that some safety measures were followed. But the Times of Israel recently reported that because of the full-scale hatred for Ukraine and Russian attacks, the country has decided to ban travel visits to Hasidi this year.
