China and India Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi leaders have agreed to continue direct flights between countries, Bloomberg wrote.

Both leaders met in Chinese Tianjin in the field of the Shanghai Cooperation Summit. According to the media, this is the first visit to the Indian leader in China for the past 7 years.

During the meeting, Narendra Modi suggested to change the direct air traffic between the countries, where Xi Jinping agreed.

Bloomberg is writing that it is still unknown when the direct wind traffic can continue, but India company Indigo said he is willing to run flights between the two countries once the work is established. It is expected that another large air carrier will also continue flights along these routes.

Direct passenger flights between India and China were suspended after the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020. Then diplomatic relations deteriorated between the two countries due to border clashes, so direct air traffic was not discontinued.

Remember that in China the climax of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) begins. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin have reached the meeting.
