Currently, there is a “preliminary agreement” on the transfer of the uncleaned part of Donetsk to Moscow. Nevertheless, the Kremlin no longer insists on transferring the entire territory of the Kherson and Carriage in the framework of a peace agreement with Ukraine. Turkish Minister Hakan Fidan said this in an interview with Haberler.
According to him, earlier the Russians wanted to occupy all the administrative boundaries of four regions. Now they do not require this except Donetsk.
As you know, Donbas is divided into two parts: Lugansk and Donetsk. Currently, there is a preliminary agreement on the transfer of 25-30% of the remaining Donetsk Region and the preservation of Zaporozhye and Kherson within the clashes, ”Fidan said.
At the same time, the Turkish diplomat did not disclose the information about which such an agreement was concluded. Nevertheless, he added that Turkey has a “good reason” to hope for a quick world.
